Guide Section!

Okey since i have bought around 20-30 guides that not was ripped etc etc and like 200 (no i havent but around 100) and i notice that many people sell guides that are on youtube fourms etc and worst of all selling guides which is rippt.
but what i wanna say is that mods should not just recive the guide read it fast and then just verify they should do something more like check so it relly works or we should have a thing HF has "official Reviewer's Group" this should be a crew of people that only are "mods" (they got NO mod power!) in guide section. what they should do is Reviewe of peoples guides and relly test if it do work the calc is right. They should not get a thing like Market mod or so just make a thread where you list the person. Only take trusted person that got many GUIDE (pins, skilling, caping, questing, torsoing and moneymaking etc etc... shoul not count in as its not by a chance related to guides) sells and/or buys.

Just ask the people who are on the list to take their time to actually verify if the guide is legit.

Another one verified by Sindre or Jcash was "how to xfer 5M/H" or something like that and it was ripped off another site...word for word and the fucking guide was buying uncharge Pharoah Sceptres, selling them to the other acc, charging them, then sell them...that's old

Seriously, get experienced RuneScape players to verify the guides or make a verifying team, all the guide sellers are also scammers, so, you can't get a legit answer from them when asking them something because majority of the guide sellers are newcomers and since moderator's just take 5 seconds to verify a guide, people keep losing cash on stupid shit that has common sense.

I wouldn't be against that idea at all. I for one stay the hell out of the guides section.

 

Mate, dont buy guides. Most guides are scammers or repeating another guide with a different object.

 

Like I've stated.. I do not do guides due to the time required. My view is 90% of the guides work, however more than half of them are ripped which is what takes the most time researching. In order for the guide section to ever work as it should and/or for me to be interested, guides should go through a review/registration type process.. Yep I know this is a lot of work. Shooting from the hip as a very experienced player yet, not so experienced Sythe mod, I feel no guides should be posted until verifed/registered. This would keep the section sooo much cleaner yet, so much more profitable for those that wish to invest the work into being listed. Request a guide to be posted that has been ripped, banned for life should be the first rule. Another, no member can request/post a guide until they've been a member for a period of time here at Sythe. Another option would be members could earn a rank after showing they've become "guide trusted" in not only developing guides, but also insuring their guides reflect true/updated info.

 

I agree with spyike's idea, if it were possible to not have a guide posted until it has been verified then there would be virtually no scamming there. But this would also take loads of work, if that were to happen i think there would need to be an entire other group of moderators that only look at guides and this way they will see ALL the guides that are wanting to be posted and can see who is trying to resell a guide or if the idea is already on the market. Anyhow if this were actually possible it would create a great guide market environment, but again it would take a TON of work. But i support something needs to be done about the guide section(especially with the continued "make 100$ per day" crap that people keep posting even though they arent allowed to)
