Guide Section Cleanup

why are people allowed to advertise their guides (that they are selling) in the standard guides section, why does the guide sales sub-section even exist?

i suggest either making a separate section entitled "free guides" or disallowing users to advertise their guides anywhere but the guide sales section. fo' real.

 

I agree with this, because it is really annoughing and those who sell their guides in the free section it seems are mostly ass holes.

 

They are only trying to help people out on sythe. Not every guide has to have a price.

 

Yeah it's annoying with people posting guides in free section that you have to pay for.

You get more publicity in the "Runescape Guides" section of the forums..... no one goes and says... "Hey! I just want to check the Guide sales section for free guides today...." only sellers look on the seller section....

 

i'd imagine people looking to buy a decent, reputable guide would be the ones checking out the guide sales section. they can get just as much publicity from one section as another. what you say is like saying "only sellers look at the gold sales section. NO ONE who would ever intend upon buying a guide would check it's appropriately named section."

 

as soon as u click on the rs2 guide's u go to free guides i dont think it should be like this.. there should be 2 things to click on either free or pay

 

Id see how sellers would get more publicity. But i agree, all sold guides should be placed where they belong
