Sup potheads! how ya'll doing

just wanted to have a discussion about the marijuana growing process, from germination to harvest. Any pointers would be appreciated. I am currently germinating them in a paper towel, and they should pop by tomorrow, at which point ill plant them

I don't think many people here are potheads.

I don't know if you're high right now, but you can probably find better answers from places like... i don't know... maybe a website all about weed.

But, I DO know a few things.

1) Certain types of light bulbs allow the plant to grow better.

2) Something about growing it in the dark.

 

Blacklights, cool room, Lots of attention.

Beware, It will stink up the house.

 

Is it an inside or outdoors grow?

 

I use rockwool cubes when I germinate. Just make sure to soak em first and I use a healthy amount of nutrient solution. If your growing indoors, which is best if you can, use an aeroponic system. I went the hydro route for a long time and aero is much easier, cleaner, and in my opinion you get better growth. You can make a pretty easy set up with just a nice size Rubbermaid bin, PVC piping, some line to run the solution and water. You can use a fogger and co2 regulator to help with growth and yield but they aren't absolutely needed. Some people go with metal halide lamps, some people with high pressure sodium, some go with both; 400 watt is all you need and it stays off the radar. Some people have had success with LED lamps but they are pretty expensive. Don't try to grow too many and seal the area your working in with plastic sheeting and make sure to have some kind of vent.

Those are pretty much the basics, just google aeroponics and you should be able to find a million guides. I would definitely stick with aeroponics though, hydro and outdoor just don't compare imo, it basically sprays the roots of the plants with solution and water inside the PVC piping. I can get a plant from germination to maturity in maybe 45-60 days, I usually only do 3-5 plants.

I don't know much about the technical stuff, and don't know proper growing terminology, but I have grown a reasonable number of plants within the last few years. All my plants were outdoors. I put the seeds in a paper towel until they started to pop up, then i transferred them into some small, maybe 8 oz, cups, each with different soil and mixtures from my backyard, until they were about 2-4 inches high. Then i moved them all into a bigger, 25-gallon pot with some topsoil and miracle grow. The pot wasn't anything special, Just a 55 gallon drum that had been cut in half. I put them in a spot in my yard that got a lot of sun, and just let them sit there, watering them whenever i remember. sometimes twice a day, sometimes once, sometimes every other day.

Marijuana is a tough plant and is able to grow in almost any condition that other plants can grow in. Just make sure you plant early in the year so that you have time to harvest before the weather kills them.

At the end of last year, each of my surviving plants was around 4 feet tall and got me about a half ounce off of each.

like i said, i don't know technical terms or anything, but If you'd like to know what kind of soil mixtures i used, id be happy to tell you in hopes of bettering your plant.

 

lol there are tons of potheads that kid crazy , but i do exactly wat u do i germinate in a wet papertowl till they sprout which is usually a day and i recomend planting outside if you take care of it ull get way more bud as long as its not a male , lol gotta hate that

 

Im sure you can find a site with all this information on, I'm all up for the discussion of if Cannabis should be illegal or not, but this is directly approving and promoting illegal activity.
