Gravite 2h

I'm botting dung right now for one on my f2p range/2h pure, is it a good idea? If not, what other gravite should i get?

 

2h is the only worthwhile gravite weapon to get. So keep going

 

Gravite pures in f2p pking own with range/2h. Definitely work towards this .

 

Is it good for final blow for range/2hing in the wild? I'll probably lose it fast >_>

 

It's really hard to switch when you range 2h with it since you have to change from the second attack style to the third attack style. Plus, g2h is (I believe) highest DPS in the f2p game, faster than msb or rune scimitar, so by using range at first you're only handicapping yourself

 

why do i need to switch to 3rd style?

 

G2H Is crush based, not slash based. So when ranging, it would stay on slash.

Rapid > Aggressive (slash)

Your best bet is Rune Longsword on Controlled + G2H

 

I am not sure about now, but when dungeoneering came out you had to manually switch your attack styles from controlled to aggressive when range/2hing. Otherwise you get defense XP while trying to combo. You should look into that as it affects a 1 def range 2h pure.

I'm making a Gravite 2h pure as we speak, getting the Dungeoneering for it, and I'm stoked, I haven't decided whether or not to range though, I think I might just rune scim > G 2H KO...

I find, as the others have said, you cba to switching.

But then again, I'm not sure if the Scimmy would protect over the g2h or not..

 

Yes, the G2H uses a crush style rather than a slash style, so when using a rune scimitar/rune longsword/any weapon where the best attack style is the top-right one, you would have to switch back and forth. Don't listen to the person that said to use rune longsword on controlled, as that gives shared xp (inb4ruinedpure). Instead, the best option is just a plain old rune sword, believe it or not. This comes from experience (I made a G2H a week ago and he raped pretty hard, but not as much as I expected since you are forced to use a rune sword instead of scimmy/range).

 

TBH it's not that hard to right click the G2h, hit F5 (or F1, IDR) to hover over an attack style, then click wield, and agressive and left click your opponent.

You'll like the wep.

 

I agree with mrduckysr, your best bet is 45-STR-1 with rune sword and G2h for KO. No messing about just pure melee. You could also get defense to get into a higher PKing range (more rune/cor)
45-STR-30 25pray with full addy so g2h can protect item
45-STR-40 with 1 pray and risk it

Just some ideas, personally I have a 45-80-40 25pray with access to rune pl8. But I will wear addy full with rune med and rune gauntlets that way I'll keep g2h upon death with skull and protect item. Or g2h rune pl8 and rune legs without skull.

 

G2H is your best bet if you're a F2P pure

 

i am 58 dunging on my pure right now

and i am members i think i will go for 80 dunging and not get that g2h because u risk it in wildy and u don't have prayer pots

so u must be really careful

 

gravites 2h = rune 2h right? im unfamilar with dung weapon stats
