Gravedigging

I was given an infraction for gravedigging, I did post on a topic that was old but I had no way to find out how old it was. The thread was multiple pages long, I found it via looking at all threads made by a person so it was a list of threads... abouts 4th thread hed made so I assumed it was recent. I then quoted what someone said on the first page and wrote what i wanted to write. After i posted it I found out how old it was and edited my post saying sorry for posting and that I didnt know it was closed.

I know its still gravedigging but I mean, its kind of diffrent I did not intentionaly go to the 4-5th page of forum, look up when the last post was and decide to bump it to see what the new opinoin on the topic was.

Please atleast consider removing my infraction or updating it so that it only shows threads the person made that were posted on in the last 2 days?

 

It is not hard to view the last post of a thread. All you have to do is click the 'last' button to open it in another tab so you can check before posting. I did dish out the infraction, so I'll let another staff member deny this.

 

ok, how about make it so when quoting something it shows when the most recent post was?... cause I didnt know I, I knew i was quoting someone from a long time ago but I wasnt on the back page, I was on the first

 

As for that mod, you'll have to suggest it. Next time, check the last post date. Since you see the last post date after posting and have time to delete your post, you really have no excuse. Unless anyone else objects, denied.
