GP Donations

I've put in a form to donate 5usd via paypal, and will probably donate more GP as i'd find it easier to gain.

It would be cool we had (M) AND ($) Ranks

but goodluck with whatever sythe decides on

 

it would be much better if we just donated cash.

 

Well this will be an option for people who can't donate with cash.

 

The rate will fluctuate, and no there will be no gp donor ranks.

There will be no GP donor ranks.

GP donor ranks and USD ranks aren't even possible to have at the same time now.

Is the gold shop going to under price, over price or sell their gold around the same price as everyone ells?

 

I will ideally be looking to sell the gold at fair market value, perhaps slightly more than your normal user as would be expected.

 

How will be ranked? Will it be classed as $1 donation per Mil?

 

I think this would be a wonderful idea, especially since i wasn't around back when Gp donating was available

So you will be selling all GP donated; then donating it to sythe? OR will sythe.org be a Mass GP store from all of it's donations?

 

I totally agree as some people aren't in the position to donate money, but pixels. I'm down anyday!

 

What does the bolded part even mean? The process is very simple. They take your gold from you, and you're given the equivalent donator rank. They handle it from their. They're going to sell the gold back to the community and donate it to Sythe.

 

Pretty much this. Will need to have people buying the gold obviously so that I can keep the service going, so it will be a trial and error process at first finding the right balance : P

 

I can get me a nice fancy badge if this goes through =]

 

We are beefing our bonds up much higher as well in anticipation of this.

 

I am interested in how this turns out. Sythe used to have GP donations if I remember correctly, But will this have some effect of Jagex's view on us, considering it will be a viable way to donate again, therefore Sythe supported?
