A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.

A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

It's not as easy as you think to get invite to Google Wave. It's in limited preview right now and they are only selecting people who they think could make some real use of it. I have 10+ invites that I am willing to give away for $5 a pop.

Bullshit. I submitted a request on their website to get an invite and within a week they sent one to me. When I created my account using their invitation, I received 8 invitations to give out.

Well we'll see...another month from now when Google starts to tighten up on the invites. They don't accept anyone btw. This thread will be appreciated when google stops handing out invites. Thanks for the free bump btw.
