google docs like program

i'm going to do a lil free coding with my friend and i need something like google docs that multiple people can type on at the same time. is there any preferably free programs that can do this? thanks

... this has nothing to do with anything i said.

1. it has to be an online program that multiple people can use at the same time (OVER TEH INTERNETZ)
2. it would be nice if it didn't have all of those annoying formatting settings like google docs
3. it should be made specifically for writing code but i wouldn't expect it to be an ide or anything

 

GitHub might prove userful. https://github.com/ghub-me. If that doesn't work for you try using a syncing service such as dropbox so you can all sync the document/code.

 

If you're looking for something you can actually program in you're not gonna find anything.

For text just use Google. Other than that use Dropbox as Blah suggested.
