going zerker/barrows pure

currently got a 60/80/1 pure, only use it because PKing is dead with pures and I can't see it getting better.

what's the hassle involved in getting defense? i.e barrows gloves, questing etc. I really don't have the time to do a ton of work on it.

is it worth getting defense?

 

The thing that hassled me the most is questing for barrows gloves. However, unlocking defense brings up a whole new level of opportunity, including godwars, effective pvm, nightmare zone training with low hp dharok, etc.

I would definately recommend barrows or 75 defense, dds can still spec through that. Aside from quests, you'll also need a lot of skill requirements, so be ready to level up your non combat skills!

Its a bitch questing for barrows gloves . It unlocks content such as godwars and other bosses. Half the time the wild is just as dead on a main as it a pure. Before going main, try joining a pure clan i know i enjoy pure clanning a whole lot.

 

I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have the time to quest, honestly.

There is a LOT of questing involved in the process of obtaining barrows gloves.

It was a headache for me questing for barrows gloves on my pre eoc turmoil rune pure... I can't imagine trying to get barrows gloves on 07 without a G/E.

 

Took me 2 months to get dragon gloves, still getting quest points for barrows lol

 

Not sure, a fully quested Barrows pure takes A LOT of work.

Pure PK'ing isn't fully dead either, maybe you're better off going rune pure?

 

If you don't have time, then no. Questing drains your life from what I remember.

If you have money you don't mind spending, then hire someone to train all the required skills and do the needed quests for you.

If you don't have that much money you're willing to spend then bot the stats required and hire someone to do the needed quests.
