After Englands goal-that-wasn't-a-goal yesterday, what are your views on goal line technology

Personally I believe is has to be encorporated into Football. Football is the biggest sport in the world. Teams get relegated from leagues, knocked out of cups, world cups. The referee can stop play for someone who is injured, so why can't they stop play if they are not sure on the decision.

    Stupid, absolutely stupid.

They have it in practically every other sport, they should join the 21st century and get it too.

It should be implemented, football is so serious nowadays, not only the sport itself, but the money involved.

If a team is relegated/knocked out of a tournament unfairly, then ALOT of money can be lost, not only by the 'owners', but the shareholders aswell.

Sepp Blatter needs to have a word with himself.

It should, but it won't for many more years according to Fifa. The only hope is two more additional referees during the 2014 world cup like we care about that right now.

yes i think its a good idea. They should do it on any questonable goals though like that bs offside call on dempsey when he scored. But we all know how fifa is.

It definitely should be, there's no telling how different that game would have gone had that goal counted. I think it should be similar to hockey, where they consult on fouls and have cameras in the net.

Football does have cameras in the nets, but the officials do not report to them when a goal is in question. Stupid really.

Yes, goal line technology should most definitely be used. It could have been used in so many cases so far, such as Gerrard's goal yesterday, Henry's handball that ousted Ireland from World Cup contention. The officiating this World Cup so far has been absolutely terrible, and goal line technology would definitely help the referees in making better calls.

All American sports have instant replay. Were doing just fine. I'm sure the most popular sport in the world can afford instant replay.

I believe Goal Line Techonology is a MUST in football. Most other sports have it and even more, so why is football, The biggest sport in the world, not using it? In my honest opinion, England would of won that game if they were allowed that goal. The motivation into the second half would of been so much higher, but because of that one goal being disallowed it dropped. If england were allowed that goal, WE WOULD'A WON!

Lol, theres no way you can assume England would have won.

I think goal line technology should be used.

Okay, Maybe not have won, but they wouldn't of lost by like 3 goals. I think that the motivation would of increased ALOT.
I do have to admit, though, that England did play TERRIBLY. No defence and Germany scored the same way all 4 times. No change and they still didn't realise after the 4th. They nearly scored again -.-

I would go with yes to the goal line technology, but I wouldn't want video refs because it would turn into American football, with challenges and such.

There shouldn't be any referees at all in sports, it should all be done electronically. This ensures maximum consistency.
