Getting Magic levels!!

What are the best items to alch and how much profit do you lose? Please give me reasonable answers because I need to get 70 magic quick, thanks guys!

Yeah yew or maple longbows seem to be the best.
You can buy more maple longbows at a time so depending on your cash pile they might be better.

 

Everything is a ridiculous cash drain thanks to natures skyrocketing to well over 300 gp each. Magic longbows typically give the least loss for alching out of maple/yew/magics, but they are harder to come by in higher amounts.

 

If you do go the magic longs route, I can be your long-term seller.

 

To be honest, I'd stop alching until the bots take over and crash prices

I did enchanting at MTA and it's much cheaper than alching and plus, with the pizzaz points you can re-buy some of the cosmics you use to enchant and you'll also get blood+death runes for enchanting

 

alching party hats and firecapes, heard you get alot of money from alching that stuff (i advise you stick to yew longs)

 

Yew longs are just easiest. But if you've got a decent cash pile go with the magic's, but still quite a loss with current nat prices :\

 

stop being a gp waster and superheat mith and make some profit, not a single xp was wasted either

 

This, a hundred times over. The game is relatively new right now, so give it another month or so when everybody has crazy high stats, and you'll get your magic up relatively cheap.

I would suggest scratching the magic and chin range at the moment.

Use the bots to your advantage, chin bots aren't banned right now so chin bots are at 400 each.

Once all the chin bots are banned or stop working chins will rise and range will become more expensive.

Wait for the bots to get back to nats and then alch.

 

At the moment it all depends on the buying price of nats - If you can find a supplier who can sell relatively cheaper than the current market price (Which is highly unlikely) you will be laughing. But at the moment, with the current market it looks like you won't be able to make money whilst alching.

 

Mage longs, but its hard to get a mass amount unless you have a lot of money
