Getting a rib tattoo

as the title says i am going to get a tattoo on one the left side of my body on my ribs.

does any one has one of these need some advice like how much pain and if i need to look out for something

its gonna be a detailed swamp tree with the roots turning into music notes

 

Getting a tattoo on your ribs is definitely one of the most painful spots you can do. Anywhere where there is a lot of bone contact isn't fun and especially your ribs. Just be prepared.

 

already sounds good xd, but it is for a good purpose and the result will be awesome i know it

 

my advice is to not get it on the ribs

 

Make sure what you get, you won't regret in the future. Also the ribs will hurt as there is bone there, so just make sure you know what to expect

 

how can i prepare for this , i am very certain about this thinking about this for a very long time

 

If you want it, then go for it I say
No regrets if this is what you have wanted for a long time, the pain therefore will be worth it

Dude make sure u make up ur mind about ur tatoo. Its never leaving your body and the ribs? would u not consider getting on your arm or leg?

 

I'd say the rib would be a better alternative to those, as it can easily be covered up in professional situations.

 

yes i want it definitely on the ribs because of my later jobs after i finish school i probably need to wear suits and stuff so a tattoo on the arm would probably show. and the size of the tattoo and shape is kinda perfect for the ribs

 

I've heard numbing the area with pads or shit and taking a few shots of hard liquor help, not enough to get drunk though lol.

 

what do you mean numbing with pads ? liekm pressing on it until it becomes numb ?>

 

Sorry I meant like an anesthetic pad or cream to put on the area where you're being tattooed.

They don't work and cost a bit. It's worth it to just suck up the pain. It hurts only for the time being. If he truely wants the tattoo then he will just take the pain

I got one on my chest and I was really worried, but i'm not going to lie. It hurt like crazy but it's well worth it. This is what I used to see were the most painful spots to get a tattoo are..
