GE behavior

I have just found a ge phenomena, and it definetely affect either positively or negatively and can be manipulated
To me it is an absolute mistery how the ge works,
So here is the phenomena

I have started merching an item at an amazing range

I buy the item at 60% and sell at 100%ht
I am currently buying 10K and am selling immediately 1.5K


Now the curios thing is that although I am selling for way higher than what im buying ( 170%). the amount i bought and the amount sold are always the same!

You have bought 1248 at a price of xxxxx
you have sold 1248 at a price of xxxxxx

then when a new "load" arrives they go equal AGAIN
this has gone on for about 20 minutes
sometimes they go unequal and then go equal again immediately


I found this related to the glitch where you buy your own item and get no win nor loss (buy 1k at 10gp and sell 1k at 10gp)
in this glitch the second trade finishes automatically and tipically happens when you reach your limit on buying.

I do not know if:
I am at my limit
This is a glitch
This is a glitch creating money
what will happen if i remove/change one of the offers


can someone explain this phenomena? or if you can't someone with glitching experience or from the tainted ones to check if there is anything exploitable here.

 

Are you making profit whilst doing this if you are how much profit and in what timeframe?

UPDATE:
the offer that is selling ( 1.3K) finished, and the buying (10K) went ongoing.
this selling offer took 10 minutes to sell 1.3K and the buying took 10 minutes.
Now 10 minutes have passed and the buying offer is still at 1.3K bought.
I have opened another selling offer, again for 1300 items 10 minutes ago, lowered the price a bit, sold 360 but unfortunately no Items are buying any more. I believe i stopped having priority over other sellers which are offering less. the buying offer is very low.

I believe this glitch just made me have for that offer, a priority, so many sellers who put their item at lower than my offer sell to me. Now probably for some reason they sell to someone else.
the buying offer was always the same,
i made 3M in an hour and i am increasing more, the limits are very bothersome. I think im getting


I got 10M in about 3 hours while doing other things. and about 5M through the night

 

Self manipulating an item? Makes you wonder what happened to those bronze arrows a week ago

 

What happened with bronze arrows?
Manipulating is when you change the prices, I am not doing that.

 

bronze arrows went up to 50k something. have u had any success with this today?

 

They went up to 6.5k each and then got manually reset by Jagex.

 

First this isn't "merching" this is flipping. I think you may be doing a common item for flipping - although this doesn't explain the massive profits.

My first thought when I saw this:

Where you always have the advantage of those using the extreme ends of this scale. (the ge mid point is irrelevant and was therefore left out)

 

You could be buying out the stock that's on GE causing impatient people to buy for higher than regular price.

I mange to do that yesterday for Pure Essence. Bought them for 121gp and sold later for 125 gp.

I also found out you can buy/sell your own stock to yourself. I can see how this can be used to manipulate your items. But you may potentially screw yourself over if your not careful.

GE now works with dynamic item limits. You have a limit of X amount for ITEM A. You buy X amount of ITEM A and you sell back Y amount to Ge. You now can buy the difference of the limit subtract the Y amount you sold to GE.

Wrong... the GE glitched... Look at the graphs of certain items they went crazy for some reason.

It was a glitch which was manually reset by jagex but no one manipulated them.

 

I noticed this too.

bigboi25276 is right, and I do this all the time as well.
