Referring to the Achievement [Frostbitten], this Thread has been made for all information referring to Northrend Rare Elites to be shared and laid here. In doing so, we can more effectively plot spawn spots, flight paths, and the locations of some of these hard to find creatures. **Note** I will be updating this Thread once or twice a day, and will begin the main construction of this Thread tomorrow. 7:46 AM -- I need some sleep.
I personally have killed: Perobas the Bloodthirster x1 Scarlet Highlord Daion x1 Zul'drak Sentinel x2 Nothing exciting *shrug*
Ah, today I logged on and I got 3 in just an hour. I killed Vyragosa, Dirkee (<3), and then went and killed Scarlet Highlord Daion. I'll be updating everything soon, and hopefully adding some of the pictures I've taken as well. For right now, I'm busy compiling all of the information needed for the Midsummer Achievement, and trying to explore the entire World of Warcraft to the The Explorer Title. :]
You do know the Time-Lost Proto Drake is near Dirkee and Vyragosa.... Also they share same spawn rates And if you want info for the achivement just use wowhead....
In the Original Post, I've had [Frostbitten] linked to WoWHead. Some of it's information is good, but you have to read through the hundreds of comments on there to get a general understanding of where some of the Rares are. As for some, they are pretty straight forward, but a lot of them have a great amount of spawn locations and paths that they follow. If we could successfully compile all the known information into one Post, then it would surely be easier to locate and kill said mob, right?
When you click the Mob name, it shows all of the locations on the map with pins as to where people have spotted and/or killed said Mob. If what you said was true, then Vyragosa must have 100 spawn locations. Oh man. I know 2 of Vyragosa/TLPD's spawn locations already, and have camped one for 5 days so far, gathering some crucial information. I was again able to kill Dirkee today as well, and saw Putridus and Illidana in Icecrown, but they were both already dead. Perhaps people can just discuss the Rare Elites that they've been able to kill in Northrend. I think I should upload and post all of the pictures of the Rares that I've hunted and killed in the last Month. I've really picked up on it these last few days, however. Thanks for the input. :]
You've come a while from then. As for now, you only need four more! I think it's Griegan, High Thane, Aotona, and Putridus. Good job man.

I quit hunting about 2 weeks ago. I've been waiting for my friend to be on, but he's still going to be gone for another 10 days. In the meantime, I currently trianing someone and doing small favors for cash. My friend and I had found the spawn timer, but then it changed when a certain something happened. ;o Have fun.
