Frost dragon setup, Help!

Hey guys.

I am deciding to go frost dragons for the first time, Got 88
dung and I have never set foot there.
I know how to access them.

Firstly here are my stats.

Attack - 90
Defence - 85
Strength - 99
Prayer - 95 ( Turmoil )
Health - 93
Summoning - 60

Equipment I will be using.

Neitiznot
Glory
Fighter torso
Lent tassets
Dragon boots
Anti-Dragonfire shield
Rapier

My setup is bad I know, But I am poor so w/e

I know I also have to use stab with rapier.

What I need to know is
1. Should I take dds for specs?
2. What should my inventory setup be?
3. I only have 60 summoning, Is it worth taking the terrorbird?

1. Should I take dds for specs? No need. Cannon does all the damage and a little bit using rapier.

2. What should my inventory setup be? Get a few prayer potions. Food(shark) And umm i think Cannonballs? Also teleports to falador bank or any other u are using.

3. I only have 60 summoning, Is it worth taking the terrorbird? Yes i think it is.

 

Might be a good time to mention, I cannot afford cannon

Yeah I have a solution - Do about 3 or 4 runs then you'll have enough to buy a cannon. A cheaper way but a little bit slower is to range the frost dragons.

It might be really difficult to maxamize your profits there with crappy gear and no cannon A cannon isn't that that expensive though. If you made a few mil before you went, and you invested in a cannon and some cannonballs, it would make your profits per hour much greater at the frosties. You should make the cash back in no time

OT: May as well take terrorbird, since you can't use Tortoise or Yak. If you do not use a cannon you will be finding it very hard to compete with the other players (bots) there. I highly recommend using a cannon, because you will still make profits using it, just simply decreases them slightly. DDS for specs, nah, i personally wouldn't i would use Enhanced Excalibur if you have it, just helps with the food consumption. Inventory; you should find the right ratio of Prayer pots to food that you need after a couple of trips, as for the first, start off with a small amount of prayer pots and work your way up once you get more confident, hope i could help slightly!

 

Do a few trips to frosts and get money for a cannon, I'd say take a dds to get a few kills faster. Take sharks, 5-6 p pots, super/extreme set, fally tele tabs. Make enouh money for a cannon then use a cannon for the trips. Also to get less encounters with bots go to a Belgium world. Download te rs client and switch language to German. No bots can be there.

 

Buy a cannon. Honestly no point without it, you'd make better money killing green dragon bots.

 

I would do something else before you get cannon you really can't do much without it.

 

Even with a cannon it's going to be terrible. Make sure u use a foreign server or else it will be way to crowded. By way to crowded I mean 20+ ppl standing around wih d meds and granite plates

 

You don't need a anti dragon shield down there.

Just mage prayer and antifires negates any damage (except melee) that they do.

 

I am getting 200m soon, So I can buy bandos, Dfs, Cannon and stuff
