    FPS lag problem

Before 4.0.6 patch I was getting an average of 60 FPS. For some reason since the day after the patch I have been getting 30 FPS. It is really horrible and jumpy all the time. I have deleted my WTF, interface and cache folders, but had no success. I also ended any other process that was running at the same time and even I installed an extra 4GB of RAM in my computer, but still the same problem. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

    Thanks..

Reinstall WoW completely, or send an email to customer support. Could be anything really that's causing it, but I have not experienced the same problem because of the patch.

Also you can try pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, open up the task manager then go the second tab(Processes). Find WoW.exe and right click on it and set priority to Above Normal. Should help some.

^^ That would help a bit, just make sure all your other programs are closed. Also try to clean anything off your computer you don't need to free up some mem.

Adding extra ram wouldn't do that much, check your video card to see if it's in good condition or invest in a better one.

usually what happens when your frame rate drops drastically like that, either you have recently installed new addons or you have programs running in you background, check your process list, some programs like firefox sometime are still running even though you closed them, so look for it there. from tome to time you can disable certain addons when you are not using them or they are out of date.

    hope this helped :)

See if the fan is working properly on the card itself: assuming the card has some kind of cooling system (mine does), make sure it's not overheating, check to see if there is a build up of dust, is the card installed properly, any physical damage to the card itself.

    Want me to keep going?
