FPS Issues?

Is anyone having FPS issues?
I uncapped it in settings but can't seem to get more than 15-20 FPS?

Here are my specs:

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel Core i7 6700HQ @ 2.60GHz 49 °C
24.0GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M

 

The game is horribly optimized at the moment, and people with amazing specs are getting FPS lag. I would just say refund it if you still can.

 

It is very choppy for me especially when flying over a planet. Flying in space is pretty smooth but anything with planets is choppy/low fps often and I have a decent computer.

 

Yeah, thanks. I'm working on that - apparently it's a process to do so.
There's a nice guide in this section and I'll follow it.

The updates put out haven't helped at all in terms of optimization, so idk.
