Forums?

Please note: By "Services Forum" I mean a forum that would have promotion/advertising for other people's boards on it.

 

General Discussion and RuneScape is what I picked, I don't really do a lot of Market.

 

The most popular would be Market, but if you're asking which one I frequent, out of that list I picked General Discussion.

 

I use General Discussion the most and then Market.

 

Out of the options you provided, I would definitely vote for either General Discussion or the Runescape General section. Both are very popular and frequented by loads of people every day.

I post in RS Gen a lot just because I have an extensive knowledge of the game, but if I had to pick a favourite I would go with General Discussion. I love the diverse topics and the great debates that appear consistently, and I've spent tons of time in the past both browsing & posting in those sections

 

I'd say General discussion cause I don't like RS and don't have that much experience to participate in the discussions in that forum and I'd say the topics here are more fun to talk in

 

Yeah, I'd definitely say General Discussion and RuneScape, if I had to pick just one though, I'd stick with General Discussion.

General discussion, you can learn new things every day

 

Its really hard to say what the "best" forum type is as its all subjective, if i was to join a forum, most likely it would be a forum that had to do with astronomy or hacking so general discussion I guess?

 

I'm gonna go with general discussion. It brings in a wider variety of people because they aren't all focused on one game. Also, there is more of a variety of things to talk about.

General discussion is better as it encompasses a lot more things and actually makes you think instead of recalling your game experience.

 

I used to have a Services forum and a General one. General one was much success and I reached around 400k posts before I shut it down. So go for that and remember to make sure it appeals everyone and grabs their attention with your content. There are many many general forums out there and only a few manage to survive for years and years.
