1-99, how long would it take and cost?

Instead of spamming, try link me to one of them. Most are old and outdated. Im asking for users to help me out. If you dont want to please, fuck off.

 

First levels are quite self-explanatory, just do the best bows you can. Later on there are several options to choose based on the budget. I believe yew and magic longbows vary from 0-2 gp/exp, so do those if you don't have much money.

Arrows/bolts/darts are the fastest way to go. Some of them cost extremely much but reasonable options would be adamant bolts which are about 10 gp/exp

I did broad leaf arrows which is very good method in my opinion. You have to unlock them at slayer master though. They're about 500-600k exp/h and cost about 11 gp/exp

 

Bolts and darts both used to only be limited by how fast you could click. It used to be possible to get 1m xp/hour, but unfortunately Jagex changed that sometime last year.

As for the current speed of fletching: it's still one of the fastest skills, and 1-99 can realistically be achieved in under 125 hours. It's been a long time since I played, so I can't really help you with cost.

 

True. They aren't as fast now as they used to be but broads still yield 500-600k exp/h. It's also semi-afkable now though.

 

Is it really that fast? I'm surprised Jagex made it that way. Also, another tip:
I'm not sure this still works, but I used to fletch in pest control. I'd get the minimum damage you have to do, then fletch the rest of the game. It's really efficient if you have a use for pest control as well as fletching.

Bonbloc makes the best Runescape guides around, used this video to get me to around 85 Fletching on my skiller, got bored and gave up :laugh:

 

As bonbloc says, i highly recommend using the Mithril Bolts technique, but you'll lose a lot of cash, A LOT

 

Roughly 125-150 hours is how long 1-99 fletching would take you. Not too sure about the price, as I haven't played RS in a few months.

 

I'd imagine yew longbows are still the way to go.

 

150 hours? That's like 90k xp/h lol...you can get pretty much any 99 except slay/rc/agility in that time period.

 

what?? how come I never knew that? I woulda had that 99 years ago.

 

ive been doing 68-99 recently and im making a 13m profit lol.

 

160k yew longbows from level 70 will take 110hrs+

Assuming you're fletching the maximum 1440 logs/hr.
