First Sprite.... Very Bad.

I followed a tutorial I found on making sprites, and I got this;

It didnt look right, so I did it like 2 more times with different pictures, and I got almost the same thing. I dont know where you guys get your tutorials for these things, but if you could post some and alot of tips, that would be nice. Rate & Hate...

not bad but you made a mistake there, a sprite is a pixelated image

 

its all good and fine calling it a sprite until theres no sprite.

read my GFX Terms sticky it should explain sprites

 

I thought it was just any small image that you add blur and twist effects to or whatever...

 

Nice lag, and the sig isn't all bad; just nothing special.

 

Sprites are small pixel images made from old 24-bit games and such. They can also be modern images pixelated down etc.
Not any random render.

 

see mine in my sig? that is barley a sprite not really though becase it isnt pixel composed, it was pixel animated rather than animate every sigle pose for venom

 

Cody it's a sprite sig when theres a little thing called a "sprite" in there xD
