First job bro..

I get to flip signs wearing some gay costume. What should i expect?

 

Sounds like fun tbh. what kind of signs?

 

Any sort of job is good when you're a teenager. (Assuming you're at least getting minimum wage.) Who do you work for?

 

I'd work for anything easy as that as a teenager seeing the minimum wages is pretty high.

 

I always feel terrible when I drive by Sign Flippers.

 

Expect to be bored out of your mind your first shift, and think the whole time how you want to quit. Then you'll probably end up quitting. Have fun.

 

I work at 7 eleven as a cashier. Not too fun.

 

I'd expect sign flipping and gay costumes, from your job description .

 

My first real job was being a cashier at best buy, but my first unofficial job was being a moves and delivery guy, lol.

 

My first job is my current job. I am a life guard and I love it.

 

That is going to get boring very quickly lol. If there's a head piece to that costume at least listen to an ipod. My first job was a pizzia delivery boy... sounds gay but it was a mean job, you only made 2-3 deliveries an hour and then you would just chill with the other delivery boys

im working at mc Donalds my first job :/ even tho i said to my self i will never work der but its alright pay for a teen on the move

 

How often do you have to jump in and save people? It's probably more just yelling at kids to stop running?

Hmm, just most aren't to the extent. I worked as a busboy, and for the first few shifts I wanted to quit, but I actually eventually started enjoying it. Flipping signs on the side of a road may seem like an easy job, but when you're standing out on the side of a street awkwardly holding this large sign, your arms and legs will get really tired. Not to mention how boring it'd be.

 

Since I've started working, I've only had to jump in and save 3 people. Most of the time I'm just chilling while getting my tan on. However, it can be nerve racking at a beach when you're responsible for many people. On top of watching people, I also have to look out for sharks, rip currents, jelly fish, the list goes on and on.

 

I sold magazines over the telephone, an ok job didn't pay that well tho. About 1300$ per month but I was 15 back then so it was allright money.
