firefox help needed.

Well, I got on today and for some reason Firefox started to act funny.

One, when I open it it only shows a white screen, then stops responding.
I've looked at the Task manager, it also uses up the CPU.
And it just doesn't work. Now I've reverted back to using Yahoo browser.

Things I've tried:
I've tried restarting my computer five times.
I've tried to uninstall then re-install 3 times.
I've tried to uninstall cleanly and then re-install 2 times.


Any ideas? Please, I hate using this browser.

 

Maybe your firewall is blocking it? Maybe you are installing it wrong? Maybe you have an old computer? Maybe you are a freak for your avatar? Many possibilities =/
