Hi, As some of you are aware if you know me, i came back from around a year of inactivity around a month or 2 ago, was shortly after banned for "ban evasion", but that does not matter. When i came back, shortly after, FinnIsCool was made administrator after being on the site for 1 and a half years, this was controversial and everyone was doubtful of it, and I will admit, at first i was pretty skeptical of the whole thing, and actually I somewhat listened to a few of the bitter staff, well now after getting to see what Finn does this on forums and in unofficial IRC I have quite a bit of feedback for him.

Well lets begin with IRC. Finn is very helpful in IRC, interacts with the community, and isn't withdrawn from everyone acting snobby. He listens to peoples opinions on matters and gives them an honest opinion of it. Some of you may, like a lot of the community, say that he's rude. This is only true if you're rude to him to begin with, whether it be forums or not, if you're rude you'll get the same response back, just like with any other person. I've spoken with Finn for quite a while now, and I can honestly say he hasn't acted rude in any way towards me. Please understand if you miss-treat him, you won't be respected by him, so just treat him like you should everyone.

Finn is one of the only admins on here which shows face progress(this means updates that are shown in the change log etc) and his updates are done with careful planning, executed very quickly and usually with no flaws. He does so much for this community by monitoring these forums that I don't see why a lot of the community disrespects him. This needs to stop.

Over all, Finn does very well at his new position, don't be mad or envious because you didn't receive it in the time span he did, and actually open your eyes to the updates he has done, and how much he does around the forums.

"OMG U R SUCKING UP"- No, I just find it ridiculous how one of the most progressive administrators and one of the better staff members gets disrespected this much. He deserves this feedback, if you decide to flame me, thats fine, but just read my thread and take everything i said into consideration.

 

I agree in 100% with you. Finn is doing great work for forums.

He really is. He's like active all around, he talks with everyone, he took over the Middleman applications and took everyone's ideas into consideration, he's always active on MSN when you need him.

 

I agree. Finn is not only an active administrator, but he also makes things happen. I wonder what else he has in mind for improving Sythe.

 

I agree with You Jew. I was somewhat active back when he was some sort of sectional mod (can't quite place my finger on which one) and then I was inactive for a few months. I came back and noticed he was admin. The first thing that came to my mind was, Nice, I can see things going very well with Finn as admin, because, like You Jew said, he isn't rude, he listens to everyone, and he is not lazy.

I agree and i disagree, i think Finn has done overall a decent amount of good to sythe, he has helped make it change for the better, but then again his only weakness is him banning/demoding people due to not liking them.

 

Seems like a nice guy and has been helpful when I don't know something. I don't know him too well though.

 

I use to hate Finn as a non admin seemed to always be a bitch. Now I think he's doing a great job, I like seeing an admin actually on once and a while.

 

Finn is a great admin. I noticed 3 things that should be changed, and he had it done in like 5 minutes. He is also nice and talks to everyone.

I believe Finn is doing a good job as well, throughout my stay here I have seen him doing well with updates and such.

I really appreciate that post, and it was very gracious of you to post that. Furthermore, just remember that men rape women on a daily basis, too. In fact, women even rape men. Additionally, just because you like pink and want to be a hairdresser does not mean you're homosexual, or anything near.
