feeling guilty

u know i agreed with my friends to go out today, but after i woke up i was not sick, but felt extremely tired and lethargic. I was not in the mood to go out and have fun.

so i told them i couldn't make it, and i think they were rather angry. now im feeling very guilty and upset with myself.

sigh.. what am i supposed to do? i've already apologised to them, i hope they accept it.

 

You shouldn't beat yoursef up over it. You just didn't feel like going out, whatever. Get togeter with them tomorrow and have a good tme.

 

honestly...why the FUCK would you feel guilty about not going out with your friends? if you don't feel like, then you don't fucking feel like it...screw your friends for making you feel guilty about it...

 

You shouldn't feel any guilt. It's not like you're friend died that night which you didn't feel like going. Just explain to them how you had an emergency appointment or just tell them you were really tired if they're understanding. Just let it go. If you still feel bad or any guilt, just schedule another day and actually attend. Make sure to not schedule it in the morning so this doesn't happen again.

 

If they are proper friends then they won't care.
Like people have said, just tell them you felt really tired and they'll understand. If not, they're not good friends.

 

thanks guys issue resolved, i guessed my friend was a bit upset but i think i thought too much too. paranoia i guess. but thanks alot for your responses. i feel fine now
