Well, I have been part of Sythe for just over three years it has changed a lot and wanted to give me feedback generally on the whole site. When I first joined here I never thought a lot of members would be so nice and friendly and welcome me, I find it's a great place to relax and talk and gain knowledge from other member's posts, which are mostly helpful. I find the staff are friendly here willing to help and some are dedicated to helping others and keep the forum's running clean. People don't understand how hard their jobs are dealing with so many members and so many report people need to think more. It's sad thought as we are starting to lose a lot of great staff members. In my opinion, it's not 100% whats on the site which makes it grow its the quality of members and staff here, And they do their job right I have to say a lot of members, are wonderful and post things, which are helpful to me. My bad points are. So many users are getting scammed because they don't understand how the site works, and I hate it everyday users get scammed is there not a better way to alert new people of safe trading a lot don't talk English and don't understand I know you're gonna say there are stickys etc. but even, so they don't know how the site works. I guess it's their thought kind of, but I hate it. I hate the downtime sometimes hear when I get errors. I could write about Sythe all day, but I don't intend to.
We do all we can to stop newer members getting scammed, but more often than not, things just slip through the net. If you have any suggestions on how to improve, throw me a PM.
Thanks Verts I will do I just hate seeing it you always help when needed. I try to do my bit by posting and adding them on msn. And catching evaders.
I enjoyed that part. You're a good man. When I first told my friends about joining Sythe, to sell my RS items/golds, they ALL told me that the staff are complete assholes, and everyone scams to make a quick buck. Which I later found was a lie. I have many "friends" (I guess I can call them that) that are staff members, as well as many none-staff friends. There are many great things that come out of sythe, many. Just most people don't see the good, they see the bad. Which is horrible. I enjoy it here, and I plan on staying for a long time.
I think to be able to make threads in the marketplace, you need at least 50 posts or something, not sure how much difference this will make but I'm sick of seeing 3 posters selling upgrades who say "not going first to ANYONE". It's even worse when they make you pay fees for an MM....
Same here a lot of people say it's bad but a lot of people, here are nice helpful and have made very close friends.
It's not that people don't understand how things work, but people stoop as low as to scam. Anyone can scam, and as we've seen most of the people on Sythe end up collapsing, dropping all self-respect and morals and scamming people. We've seen this happen to new comers along with higherups, up to I believe an Admin.
