I don't believe in fate. Even in the bible it says we have free will, This would mean we all DECIDE the outcome of our life's. But fate, is stupid to believe in.

You can't use the bible to go aganist fate, in the bible our entire future is already mapped out. Also god says he reads our hearts and minds and can tell us the choices we make before we ever make them... The bible has to support fate.

I doubt it, The bible says pretty much that God has chosen a path for each and everyone one of us and when i confronted a Religious person about Free Will Or Predetermined paths they replied...."We have free will on a predetermined path"

I thought to myself...that sentence contradicts itself in the biggest way possible.

Not really, we have free will, but our choices can already be chosen, like we had the option and already made it...

Indeedlious seeing as there's the past, present, and future and the path we chose has already been chosen once before therefore we are merely walking in the shoeprints of the last person. THAT is they only way i can think of which corresponds with Free will on a Pre-Determined path in a non religious sense.

Even then if we choose something and the result is already chosen for us then that cannot be deemed as freewill, it is known as Pre-Determind

I wasn't trying to "use" the bible, but if anyone brought up an argument about the bible. Though its true that it says that It also says we have free-will. So that verse in the bible could be uninterpreted many different ways.

It could be that he will try to tell you the right decision like when deep down you know its wrong, but you do it anyway.

and perhaps your future is to go to heaven.

Some sects of Judaism don't believe in fate - a predetermined path.

Most christians I argue with also have a loose interpretation of fate - we have free will, and we are accountable for our actions.

I don't believe in it. People have the power to create their own destiny. But because I'm somewhat religious, I say God can "alter" your destiny...
