He's accused of scamming 750m on a guys selling thread then replies denying it (how did he know it was there if he didn't do it). Then 30 minutes later sells the exact same amount to Dave and vouches for it.

Pretty clear ban, no? Let him explain himself in a dispute.

You knew he was accused of scamming 750m, then you let him sell you 750m and didn't think something was up?

 

I have banned the user for now.

If this was all just a big coincidence he should be able to show where the 750M came from and he will be unbanned.

If however he did scam, it will prevent him from scamming others while this is being dealt with.
