    I then think hmmm, something not right here, I put in my card details 100% correctly without a shadow of doubt. I then check my bank statement to find this:

    All because I ordered from my neighbour's I.P? I got fucked hard, they better refund me...

    My laptop connected to my neighbour's unsecured net for some reason, and I've only ever ordered from my own I.P. Jagex have a fraud prevention system on their billing, which obviously failed there.

    The mere fact that they told me to keep trying is what pisses me off, how am i supposed to know this happens? Also, they owe me every single penny since I didn't get any membership despite paying £10.50.

    Contacted bill support team.

    You clearly knew what was happening, as you posted here saying it was because of your neighbor's IP.

    Either way, it says "For more information, please contact your payment provider."

    If he would have done what it said the first time, he would only be out 3.50, not 10.50. Generally every time a payment fails with anything, you're charged some small amount, so how about you check to see if you were charged the first time, instead of just mindlessly entering your credit card details 50 times?

    I was baffled more than anything, I'd just ordered a burger and Maccy D's literally 30 mins ago with the card and the details were entered 100% flawless, on top of that the card already has 3 accounts subbed to it.

    I'm getting a full refund within 5 days, they replied very quick. Apparently their fraud prevention system failed this time round. They probably detected my I.P or something and decided not to give membership due to their crappy detection. Note how they still managed to bill me?

    It is because your IP and selected/credit card countries are not the same.
    It will be refunded back to you.

    Yeah it really annoys me a huge chunk of people had this problem arise and it's been this way ever since about two months ago now I'd say. Sad thing is Im using paypal just fine which is linked to the same info. But yeah no matter how many times you try it'll fail now but you'll always be refunded so no worries.

    Same happened to me, my card wouldn't work and charged me that much. It will be refunded to your account.

    To the idiot who posted above saying it's his fault. Obviously if it says the payment wasn't successful he'd try again. If it said, "we took $3.50 from you and your membership wasn't applied" I don't think he would have entered it 2 more times.
