I beat Fable: The Lost Chapters and loved it! Should i get Fable 2? Is it worth it or is it just another game i should rent instead of buy?
well if Fable: TLC was Good, ive played this aswell Then im sure Number 2 Should be better, as it is number two? if i could get it i would, so you should ?
I have both fable 1 and 2.. Fable 1 was classic, "Are you a chicken chaser?", or "two words, 'Wedding Ring'" I loved it for its simplistic gameplay and fun quests. Fable 2 was basically fable 1 with lots of changes: much better graphics, different fighting system(unfortunately), no reused phrases, complex quests, multiplayer capability, jobs, and some other stuff. Both were great in their own ways. Fable 1 is good for relaxing while fable 2 needs focus. Really depends what mood your in.
I played fable 2 (after borrowing it from a friend) and i got just after going to bowerstone as an adult... Then i sold my gamertag and nevr really felt like going through the begining with the 5 coins lol
I'd rent it to be honest. It's only worth buying if you're going for the achievements. If you rent it for a week, I'd say that's enough.
Thanks everybody, im going with nathans idea and just renting it if i ever feel like playing it again
Fable 2 was a disappointment to me, being an avid Fable fan, it wasn't because the game was bad. It was because there was so much hype about it but there really wasn't that many changes from the first, there wasn't anything ground breaking in it, the co-op system was shabby and it felt more of an expansion than a sequel to the first game. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing it, but I just expected more from a sequel.
Yeah, the co-op system seriously sucks... I never played the first one, so I wouldn't be able to compare, but I did enjoy playing Fable II... The expansions are pretty good too.
Yea, when i finally did play it on co-op i was always the one left behind then id be like man this sucks... :S
