    external harddrives
    Can anyone explain how they work? Also can you link me to a good one for purchase. Last but not least would having a full c drive effect my computers performance in anyway?

    external harddrives
    They plug in to your computer via USB, they have a USB plugin and a cord to plug in for power. They need both.

    Also, I have a Western Digital 640GB External harddrive and it's fantastic.

    Anything else need clarified? Just plug it in, go to my computer, and click the external harddrive and drag/copy stuff in to there to make copies/free up space.
