almost all top economist are saying not just america but the entire world is going into a full blown depression very soon...

i am very poor and cant prepare but for you guys who have some money
please prepare..

-stock up on canned food, anything that last long 3 - 6 months supply at least
-gold, silver, copper coins..
-medications
-water filtration
-solar power
-9mm gun or glock

when this goes down its not going to be pretty people who are hungry will raid stores and homes and there will be death in the streets

One MAJOR difference in this depression than the last depression... After what happened last time, the entire world took precounter measures to ensure that doesn't happen.


If we hit depression, we will all go to trade, and it'll be trade instead of money that will get us what we need. People will work for food, and everything like such...

We'll be fine this time, it's still going to suck, but it won't be as bad.

 

It'll be just like the great depression...

 

I still believe that the media is still over exaggerating this problem. I know we have problems, but as Deacon Frost stated, we also have guide lines this time, for example everyone is now guaranteed up to 250k for every bank, when before we didn't have this and people lost their money. So when the media says terrifying news, you have to know they are bias in some way and they try to scare you (so you continue to watch).

Fucking right - I've been stocking up for the last few weeks.

A few other things to stock up on:

- Gasoline
- Blades (and sharpening kits)
- Mechanical supplies
- Preserved foods of all sorts - the cheaper the better
- Matches/kindling/wood
- Flashlight
- Batteries
- Shotgun

Times will be hard, but no need for all that shit.
Your money is still guaranteed, yet you may not be able to get new loans.
The media is not over exaggerating the problem, they are exaggerating what the effect will be.

we are in a recession right now, which means first stage to a depression. a depression is just a really long recession.

 

In a year or two, the US dollar will be worth far less than it's worth right now.

 

I agree shredder.. but we cant ignore that our ecconomy is on a standstill but we will not go into a depression... im 75% sure we will not mess up to bad...

 

Currently, the economy is dropping like a rock.

If the Fed bails out Wall Street, what we'll have is nationalization of the economy - and history shows us how that will fare.
