    Ever since

Ever since the wilderness & free trade was gone, the game itself has never apprised my attention into great detail. With the "chance" of free trade, and wilderness of 07 coming back, great opportunity waits

It seemed as though every time I would log into runescape, I would be sitting around in a privatize, security infested dungeon. With the balance of a real trade system, and wilderness there isn't a compromise that I can argue with. The introduction of being able to do what one want's to achieve in a game is what made Runescape in the first place.

What I loved about the economy back in 2002-2007 was the social balance between each other. The game itself was based on skill, contribution, and a desire to learn various prospects of the game. Looking back through the past, not everyone had a a party hat, the system built in itself was a challenge, few people had party hats, rares and strong weapons. Either a staker, pker or a merchenter. The classification were drawn out through majority of money making methods. Looking back at the skills, these were minor supporting methods of gaining currency. The individuals wearing max gear, showed a strong outlook on the rest of the community. Now days people soloy rely on god wars, and other over powered ways of making money... Which falls under the category of luck. Personally the game itself back in the day didn't look highly upon PVM, which at the time had Abyssal demons, and dagganoth kings were one of the popular source of income. These PVM monsters weren't a problem as they had restriction based on the rewards. (ultimately the reward wasn't over powered).

In other words, Runescape back in the day revolved around SKILL... nobody was safe, there were loop holes around every turn. It was all about distracting and opposing your enemy's. additionally one could say the wilderness revolved around tactical measures, which greatly impacted the economy on how wonderful PVP is. The introduction of Bounty hunter, and any other game could not replace the deeply respected "old pk style." Their was respect behind PVP, back in the day and rewards weren't looked so highly upon, all though money is what derives people to participate.

Bringing back the wilderness, and free trade is a introduction to the success of the veteran player's of Runescape. The mind set of "not being safe", and always having precautionary measures running through out your head is how I'd like to describe the old mode of runescape. Narrowing this down into a simplistic perspective, as a community of sythe we shall introduce "hard core mode" back into runescape, the dark sinister age of being of being in control awaits.

What do you think about this?
    Plans?

Honestly all the updates for Runescape I personally could care less for.
2007... Back into place is what I'm ecstatic about.

Personally used to be a hardcore non botter .. etc of runescape.
This action of bringing back trade, and wilderness will bring back a lot of people playing runescape again.

    Perhaps D.I will re open?

I'm 17 now and I was 14 when it was removed.

I feel like a complete nerd at the same time for wanting this so much, including being told by my girlfriend that I am one (xP) AND STILL I'm so unbelievably excited by this.

    FUCK YEAH 2006 WILDERNESS

I could care less the action against RWT, and botting by delebritely taking away Free trade, and wilderness was a back stabb to the community.

The whole point of free trade, and wilderness is do what you want and have a balanced economy.

These kids who are ranting about having the system stay in place, clearly don't know what Runescape itself was like before all these updates like god wars..

godwars was here during free trade =] but yeah these kids are just ranting because there afraid of change. theyll get scammed and raped in the dark corners of the wilderness a few times but theyll adapt and when they do they'll love it.
