Ethernet Card.

I recently setup one of my old computers. Still has windows 98. Got it all
set-up and when i went to plug in the ethernet cable there was no plugin spot
for it. So i went to best buy to ask them, and they said i need an ethernet card
($40) Im just wondering before i buy it, how to install it. Is it hard?

Also, I remember when i first got broadband (cable) internet they did some stuff on my computer. Do i need to setup that stuff to for this new comp, or can i just plug in the cable and be good?

No an ethernet card, runs slides into a PCI slot. You just open your case and just put the card into the pci slot and add a screw to the side.

Simple.
