Emulator section??

-Well.. Emulators can be downloaded from certain sites and used on computer's so it really is a form of gaming now alot of people use them to make guides for games and previews and more all system's such as N64,PS3, and the Wii have emulators all made with some games all older systems games or ROMS are already out but it still works out the same.

*POSSIBLE SECTIONS*

-Emulators are plugged into current game system's and turn them into multi-console's such as for example XBOX with a emulator of a N64 on it... guides can be made to be shown how to do thing's like this.

-Emulator downloads such as ROMS and systems.

-There are also emulators for computers which can be opened in seperate window's (Good for IT).

I find them quite interesting but after all it is just a suggestion.

 

Emulatars use roms which are illegal :S.

They're not illegal if you own the cartridge

I don't think they're illegal if they're used for educational purposes etc'. A disclaimer etc' would have to be included.

 

They are simple to use: Just download, then download a game and open up with so said emulator.

 

yea i still think it'd be good to have a section on them though it'd be great really.

 

i think its a smALL LITTLE THING to have a section over .may be my oppinion but it would be like having a section on installing things

 

no one would even look into this section besides the little many that are interested in this as so.

Eh. I don't see the use for them particularly because there isn't much to discuss. They're fun and all, but it's not what Sythe is all about.. especially considering the vast majority of people use them to pirate the games.

There are plenty of Emulator based sites already on the internet that will prove far more helpful to someone interested in this kind of thing than Sythe ever could, to be honest. A simple google search and you've found pretty much everything there is to know about emulators.

 

Well idk if its illegal or not, but i post on certain forums where the users make hacks/alterations etc etc to roms, pokemon games seem to be the most popular, and the main site i use, i've never heard them having any legal isues or anything, idk but if it isn't i'd support a section for it.

 

It's pirating, which I'm sure is related to Warez, which is against the rules.
