Ehm..

How successful do you think it would be to venture into the wild with a pure with only 40 attack?

I'm basically thinking this:

40 atk
70+ str
1 def
70+ range
43-52 prayer
82+ magic

Thinking of getting DT done. I'm not too sure, haven't played Runescape in years so I'd have to look up what the quests would give me and whatnot.. I don't even know if it'd be beneficial to stay at 40 attack or get 50 and use range as my primary attack and switch to my G maul or what.. I don't think 10 attack levels will really matter, honestly.. but just the concept is what is important to me.

What do y'all think?

Yeah, most of the pures get 50 attack at this point for g maul. You could also get 60 for dds/anchor.

Stats you want

50 Attack
99 Strength
1 Defence
1 Range (you can get 99 if it doesn't affect your combat level)
43 Prayer
94+ Magic

Pretty much, you can choose to maul/barrage, or you can also choose to dbow/barrage if you get high ranged.
