Dying... lol

I got sick yesterday, I thought it was the Swine Flu, its not, all it is, is a cough, fever, and body chills. Nothing that can't stop me lol, my fever right now is like 102. This shit sucks!

Anyone have suggestions to make me feel better? I have been sitting in my Pajamas all day, I felt fine throughout the day but at around 7 o'clock I got my fever again. Its like 102 right now or so, I have been slamming down Chicken Noodle soup all day, and I have downed like 8 or 9 full glasses of water and I thought I was better.

Any suggestions would be sweet

Last night i slept downstairs where it is cold and the next day i had the chills the whole day. I thought i was fine today but this evening (and currently) i got the chills. I slept with my clothes on last night because it was so cold :|

When I feel like I am getting sick, I take my alarm clock to the bathroom and set it for 10-15 minutes

I get the water to as hot as it can get without burning me and get in until the alarm goes off. I get out and take an hour nap..

(for Me Gets rid of the fever for quite a few hours

Dunno about cough, though. I've had a cough for about 3 months now and its just now dying out. :|

 

When i take a hot shower while i get the chills it feels hot with a cold feeling.. So i dont really do it often :S

 

Yeah the best thing you could do is sleep and drink plenty of fluid (doctor sounding >.>) but OMG I do feel like this too, I am getting worried, please post what happens and how you feel better. I hope it isn't the swine

Just go to sleep. Drink plenty of liquids, eat regularly and you'll be fine within a couple days.

 

just spend 5 mins and get everything perfect; hot choc, snack, warm blanket and a movie. and just RELAX.

 

I actually wasn't applying anything like that, it was because before I made this topic my brothers friend came in and she was like "You still dying?" because I had a awful cough and felt like shit. It had nothing to do with Swine Flu at all, I think you need to relax.


Anyways, last night I was sleeping and felt so awful until like 3AM, at 3AM I woke and was completely drenched in sweat, like straight up, my shirt and pajama pants were completely wet with sweat and I had to change everything. I definitely broke the fever though, I have felt fine ever since then. I just have that awful cough still and a slight sore throat from the cough.

 

Dude everyone gets sick, this the first ever time you've been sick??go see a doctor..

 

Lie in bed all day and get your mum to wait on you hand and foot.

 

Try using cold packs on your head. It works for me, should work for you.

 

cold shower, blankets, sleep. i had that a couple weeks ago my fever was fuckin 104 lol it suckedd

As for the OP, when I have a fever, I just take like 8 hot baths to bring my body head back up and make the fever go away. Just always stay warm and you won't get a fever.

 

I had all of the same symptoms as you, it took me about 6 days to fully recover from it, but I would suggest taking a really long hot shower, sometimes I feel that actually laying down in the shower makes it feel much nicer. Also try taking coldfx not sure if there are other medicines, it is quite expensive but as soon as i started taking them I felt better. It helps boost your imunity to sicknesses / colds such as the swine flue. So over all you should just feel better.

 

Lie in bed, Relax, Watch a movie, Get your mum to bring everything up to you.
