    So I just got back from watching Dredd 3D at the cinema, in 3D.

    The film was gorey, filled with stunning visuals and despite what the trailer suggested to me, not a bore-fest.

    I'd highly recommend it.

    US Release is 21st September.

    No, it's more based on the comics than the original hollywood cliche film.

    A completely different film if you ask me, and i've got the Sly version on DVD. A MUCH BETTER film.

    This film looks amazing! I think I'm actually going to see it this weekend with my dad. He loves films like this (comic book ones) and so do I :)
    Thanks for the recommendation and I agree the trailer does look slightly boring to be honest but now I've seen this I'm more willing to go and see it. If I do go and see it this weekend I'll leave a small review about it here too.

    it was really good. the trailer made it look like it was gonna suck, but i was wrong.

    it's essentially a remake and was terrible imo.

    Alright, thanks for that. The original one was pretty amazing so I might just watch it because I thoroughly enjoyed that one.
