Double Xp Weekend Halp!

Hey everyone I was just curious of your suggestions on wtf
I should do for that weekend.

what would be the best possible xp in F2P and P2P

For Runecrafting, Mining/Smithing, Magic

 

Depends on what you want to do!
You can do virtually anything.
I'm going to be focusing on skills that take longer to train, and am going to nolife my new 10 hp mage pure to try to get that little boost.
All you really have to do is play rs

Alching would be 130 exp per alch if my math hasn't slid off yet. That's some pretty beast exp. All your xp rates per hour would just be doubled.
Now this is just me but if I wanted to level mining, I think I'd just powermine iron somewhere. The problem is all those resource collecting skills like woodcutting, mining; all locations are probably going to be packed, so something like runecrafting/smithing would be a better idea.

Your xp rates will not be doubled, they start at 2.7x when you log in on first day, and decrease by 0.2x every 45 minutes after that. After 7 hours, your xp modifier is at 1.1x, and it stays there for the rest of the weekend.

Over the first 7 hours, your average xp mod is 1.59, meaning you gain 103 magic xp per alch, on average.

 

That's fucking stupid. When it's called "Double XP weekend" why not just give us fucking double xp? Seriously, it's the weekend but you only get about 3-4 hours of actual double xp.

 

When is double exp supposed to be?
and I would do prayer i might do 95-99 on double exp or summoning

 

A good plan is also to buy items people will need, I do not play anymore so I don't know when the weekend is but if you stock up on the items they need there is a good chance they rise a bit, hence you will make money. Also stay away from the spots that are easily powerleveled and take this time to train a skill which is a bit more difficult like the ones mentioned.

For this double xp weekend, neither of those skills will be double xp, stated in the letter on the forums.

Why? I have no idea, and I'm totally against the decision.

 

I'm going to be spending my double xp weekend on smelting:

Smelting gold ore:
22.5 XP per ore

Smelting gold ore with goldsmith gauntlets:
56.2 XP per ore

Smelting gold ore with goldsmith gauntlets with double xp weekend:
112.4 XP per ore

 

I heard gold smithing gaunts don't work in double exp weekend and it's only 110% summoning exp

theres jagex for you. they pump us up giving is double xp weekend something everybody likes everybody is crazy for.............. but wait, theres exeption...its not really double xp weekend! its more like " 7 hours of double xp weekend " ........... ffs they ruined my goal of getting 94 mage.......... wait a second!!! is it dregaded by minutes or by xp, cuz if its by minutes....i know what to do

 

You loose your multiplication of exp over a set amount of time(45min). It is not based on the exp you gain during play.

Yea items which already boost don't stack during the weekend.
= no gaunts, sc tools, penance horns, brawlers.... etc

 

Eh yo listen you do the best thing oyu can do. And make sure to buy the supplies now or your screwed.

 

Dammnn screw jagex to come up with crap like that. -_- man I was hyped for that, but I guess 103 xp per alch isn't that bad either...
