    The donations system uses 1m = $3
    (Which was the average market price when GP donations were still accepted.)

    As such 5m = $3 x 5 = $15

    And $15 < $25

    Sorry but at this time I'm not going to do that. When the new donations system came out with the new ranks, everyone was told that old donations would be migrated to the new system at some point.

    This allows old donators to receive the new perks and to make full use of the new donations system.

    Most of the current five dollar donators only donated 1M, not the 1.66M required for the $5 rank. Following that $3 logic they shouldn't have ranks. The $25 rank looks the same as the 5M rank, I assumed they would be equal?

    Eh sorry about being a pain in the ass, I just feel cheated(as do other members). There are threads in the feedback forum and donator lounge.

    I donated $5 bucks LONG time ago around 2006...I don't know if thats moved in?

    Not being picky here :D I really don't mind hehe

    You haven't been cheated...

    People who donated 1m in the old system were given 1m in the new system.

    All I did was give them the lowest rank so they wouldn't lose their rank completely.

    Keep this in mind: if anyone with that 1m donation tries to donate again in the future, they won't get a free 0.7m or whatever it is.

    As in, if they wanted to donate to the $25 level, they would have to donate $22 because I'm only going to count their current donation as $3, not $5.

    I knew this transition would irritate some people but either way people would be irritated.

    Either I irritate some people who lose their old ranks or I irritate people with old ranks who want the new ones with the new perks.

    Obviously I chose to move everyone because now all donators are on one system which is easier to manage.

    EDIT:

    Also, on the donations center, users who have the $5 rank but only donated 1m ($3) will get a notice letting them know what happened and that they have to donate that extra $2 I mentioned above.

    I want my 5m rank back this is usesless dont give me ANY perks I could care less, but that 5m rank showed how long I have been here, it had history behind it and to take somthing like that away is so fucking useless and just mean to those who actually enjoyed being one of the only few left with a rank like that, that wasnt banned of course. Me and MANY others agree this is complete BULL, whoever made this decision it was completly unnecessary. And I donated 5m not 5$...
