Does jagex link bans?

If I play legit/bot RiD on my main while I also bot 24/7 powerbot on mules and they get banned, will they also ban my main?

 

I would say you would have more of a chance getting banned on your main yes. But Jagex are to unpredictable to give you an accurate answer.

 

As far as I know, nope I haven't herd of linked bans in a very very long time.

 

If they do ban one of the accounts, im sure they flag the i.p to look harder for future cases of botting since you would be a "repeat" offender. But if they ban one account they wont ban any other. Ive never even heard of them chain banning before.

 

When RiD was new Jagex was manually linking and banning people. If you ever botted or got banned on one account they would ban your RiD account also. I doubt they care that much anymore.

 

Thanks for the reply mate. I've botted about 60-70 accounts on this IP, all over a month to either 99 str or something similar. I was banned in the wave of 2010 on my main , and about 5 accounts. They banned my main because I was stupid and left on vacation leaving my soul wars on. Unfortunately the nexus client was so good that I ran a 7 day proggy at 4.0 zeals per hour.

But I haven't been banned yet since 2010. Just curious.

 

Last time I checked they'll keep an eye on the account, but they won't just ban it like that *clicks*. I'm not sure they're as interested in banning botters anymore, though.

 

They won't mass ban all your accounts, but they will be keeping a close eye. As far as I know, if you frequently use the same IP, or Credit Card to purchase things on runescape (notpaypal), your account will be somewhat linked. I'd say start taking it easy on your main. Start following the RiD guidelines and don't do anything stupid.

Botting bans aren't linked, i've had several accounts rolled and none of them have been linked.

You will get chain banned if you are banned for RWT and if you're extra naughty they chain ban for account hijacking

I have been chain banned for RWT and it fucking sucks losing every single account you have even accounts i hadn't logged into for 3+ years were banned.
