Does it make sense?

So I thought about it, since EoC update. Should I go turn my 1 Def Pure into Barrows Pure or should I remain staying a pure. I really have no clue, how to gear up, or which weapons I should use. My stats are following:

40 Att
94 Str
1 Def
85 Range
21 Prayer (quested)
28 Magic

I thought abouut getting maxed in att str magic and prayer. I also have an main maxed (currently on sale), but I have no interest in playing with it. So what should I do? I love the fact that I am 1 Def Pure, so I want to stay like this. But which advantages and disadvantages, I have by staying 1 Def? So does it make any sense now staying a 1 Def Pure since EoC update or not?

 

I really see no reason for 1 def pures now

I think barrows pure would be nice
at max level you'll be only 171 and you can use some pretty good defense skill

 

Defence has really become a large part of RS Post-EoC.

1 Defence isn't feasible any more, basically try and find a Defence level that will give you armour which boosts your LP by enough for you to PK without being Ko'ed in 1, 2-hits.

 

Tbh, zerkers are still quite effective, as the armour gives a half decent lp boost. This new armour from the new tzhaar GM quest they are releasing may be what pures will aim for soon though!

 

Hmm that sounds interesting. But it is probably for members. What If I stay f2p? lol

 

If you leave the account as a pure you can be one of the first to "specialize" when a new armor class comes out.
