Do you report bots?

Hey guys!
I constantly see people on Sythe, a place to talk about account sales and cheating, in the runescape section, talking about reporting bots.


So I have a question for you all, when you see a bot, do you report it?

My answer: No. I would hate to be botting and someone see me, who intends to bot themselves, and report me. What's the point?

Hmm, I don't care about others, so I do not report anyone...

 

I report botters all the time, even though I bot. The way I look at it, is that if you're dumb enough to be using software that could lead to your ban should you get reported and investigated, then you deserve the ban tbh. Bot with the right software and have a little bit of restraint enough to bot less than half of the hours of the day, and there's no worries.

I've even reported people I thought were using the same bot as me, and idgaf cause I know they are safe and shouldn't have anything to worry about, so idgaf if I get reported myself.

 

Never. I suicide bot each day, so I would be a complete asshole if I reported someone.

It's a waste of time and hypocritical for myself.

 

I never bother, Jagex know they are botting but just can't do anything about it, reporting it will have no effect.

 

When they steal my kills I report haha

 

I bot so why would I report fellow botters?

I do report the annoying green drag ones though + free gp when killing em

 

Why would I report someone if I don't want to get reported myself? Hypocritical imo.

I use to report them where I could before I started to bot myself and so I've stopped reporting any botters, as im one myself now. >.<

 

I'm a botter, the only accounts i report are those god danm gold farming accounts at chickens that suicide the whole 2 week trial and end up with like a million feathers. I HATE those FAGS.

Yes all the time.

When they chop my trees, mine my ores, kill my dragons, or in general take my resources, I report them multiple times. I even report the random people in the bank who are alching or crafting or fletching or whatever. And I report all the level 3s near Burthorpe because they'll be up-to-no-good in a matter of time; I report anyone who jumps the wilderness ditch on a non-pvp world. I even made a bot to report random people and set it up at the Great Orb Project area last September when things got out of control.

I hate how it's become something 'everyone does'; it's gotten so casual we don't even try to hide it. And, while I take advantage of it myself, I certainly don't want others to get away from it.

Also, I think I get some sick, perverted joy from schadenfreude. I find that it tastes good. How that's possible, I don't know.

 

Why should we report botters i'm a botter and I bot like 15/7 so it wouldn't be fair reporting people just like you.

And also reporting does nothing unless reported like 50 times XD

 

I'm not a hypocrite. I don't report nor do I want anyone to report me.
