I dont know what your issue is with him or her but you need to leave that shit at the door, you are a moderator and expected to have some semblance of professionalism and you go and pull a childish vendetta to get someone banned over (predominately) bullshit infractions (old ones mind you that you dug up one night and dropped on him all at once). Even other staff acknowledged your fuck up and reversed one to get him unbanned. Under pockets UI there is this quote "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." and i think its very fitting for this situation, think about it. Honestly any more bullshit like this and i wouldnt be surprised to see your demoted,this site has had an issue with corrupt staff in the past.. dont be another statistic reflecting poorly on the rest of the staff .

 

You need to stop thinking that people don't appreciate you because you work from your phone. Honestly you're a great mod and no one ever says anything bad about you.

 

It was actually a mix up on my part and I jumped to conclusions in the heat of the moment. DJ didn't target me, it was another user who I got banned via the steam thread, he actually handled them well and I have apologized to him for accusing him of something he didn't do. If I could take back what I posted I would.

This is true, so we have put this behind us and we're cool.

 

Before you judge, learn the facts. 3ncore targeted ijava, and unfortunately, Matt is the one who handled the reports. This could have been any staff member. I personally reviewed every infraction that Matt issued, and they were all warranted. I however, decided to reverse one and unban ijava as he was the victim of a targeted attack by 3ncore.

Again, this could have been ANY staff member, so before you start accusing someone of having a "childish vendetta", how about you educate yourself on the facts.

ijava has already forgiven Matt for this instance, and he's also well aware that he was indeed guilty and deserving of every infraction he had received.

 

Thank you for that Ryan, summing it all up for me and myself and iJava have no problems. I am glad that Encor3 has been dealt with.

 

Stop white knighting, dj handled himself just fine pm'ed me a little more info and it is sorted out and i understand the situation now no thanks to your uneeded rant.

this post made it seem as though he was the one targeting ijava, there was no direct mention of the third party who had the vendetta so it just made dj look bad. I understand the situation now and have apologized, Ryan there is no need to white knight for a grown man and be rude "about the facts" when the "facts" are hidden from normal users, its not as if i could have seen the reports or seen the actions that led to the infractions. I just saw the dispute saw the information given and due to some unfortunate wording (ie: i know they were targeted [with no mention as to by who]) i jumped the gun and thought it was dj who did it.

TL;DR N4n0 stop white knighting, Sorry DJ as i said in my OP that was my only issue so you are actually doing a great job. Thanks for not being an overly defensive ass like others act when a misunderstanding or criticism is made you handled this very well and ill gladly eat my words.

 

The only reason Ryan posted was to help me clarify things, since everyone seemed to be throwing me under the bus which is what heated me. I don't know why it took me to tell people I didn't target him and there was a 3rd party who made the reports.

 

I didn't forgive Matt, he forgave me as I made the false accusation.

Yeah if you don't really want it for much apart from browsing a net book would be ideal. People complain about the size of the screen and what-not but its a big upgrade on your current screen size.

 

DJ at current I find is one of the most active and committed staff members. How much he he gets done via his phone is a testament to that.

+1 to you for taking the time out of your day and spending it talking to a banned user. We all know how time is against you. It's nice to see that you were willing to put up with him, as I would believe that most situations like this, we'd think that the banned user would let you hear what you want to, and waste your time trying to persuade you.
