Absolutely TERRIFIC film I won't lie it was very emotional and trust me I'm NOT an emotional guy, the ending was excellent and exceptional directing + Fabulous acting by Wikus Van De Merwe played by Sharlto Copley.
Watch it please If not seen already It was so convincing with some scenes that I believed would go the way portrayed but always an excellent twist.
Hilarious as-well as action-packed and pretty saddening.

Beginning was a little slow, I didn't like the whole rounding up of Aliens in the beginning. I do have to agree it has emotional parts, I suggest watching it as well =D

Thanks for the reply mate, I'll admit it was slow but it was hilarious and it built up the drama and storyline in the film.
Thanks and do watch it people!

^Yeah it took awhile to build up, but overall I think it was a good movie. Not the type movie I would watch multiple times tho.

I thought it was a great movie, despite going in with pretty poor expectations. Didn't like the main character at all, but despite that, I thought it was an awesome movie.

The build-up was definitely a bit slow.

to be honest, didn't like it that much. but i guess i'm not really one for that type of genre. the ending sort of left it open for a possible sequel though, interested to hear anything about that.

I really liked it as well. I didn't pay attention to it at all when it was in theaters, or much after really, but one day when I found it on KAT, I decided to watch it.

I would definitely say it was an underrated movie, I loved it. I even ended up making a FB status about it, and that got a few likes/comments as well.

I've seen it, it wasn't bad. There's a window for a sequel as well.

wasnt this supposed to be like Halo Reach type of movie and the director just sold the rights of the movie since he ran outa money. makes total sense for me because of the props they had (e.g. jeeps, spaceships, wepons.)

    no.

If it was a halo type of movie it wouldn't have been made by Peter Jackson who has no relation to Bungie.
I thought it was a relatively good movie.

I thought it was great, considering it's a low budget movie, they did a wonderful job.
