[DENIED] Change/Simplify URLs

My suggestion is that instead of having the following URL: Eazy E

I would have: https://www.sythe.org/members/eazy-e



What this would allow is for...

- shorter, prettier urls
- Easier to navigate to users directly if you know their username already

Would require...

- Moving the user ID # to a new button on the Xenforo profile menu called "User ID" ( just like the "Get sythe Token" button ).




If you think about it, what would most people prefer..

A. A short profile URL that is easy for anyone to directly search too, and having to navigate to "User ID" button 1 time when they want to make a ref link to sythe.

B. A longer URL which makes it nearly impossible to directly navigate to a profile in the url bar, and a User ID which seems to never be used.



Quick example:

You are in discord and you know someones name ( obviously, you see them in discord ). Instead of hunting down their profile in the search box on the forums or wherever, you can just change the url on your own profile page to go to another user. Remember, it is almost impossible to find someones profile directly from the URL bar.



Seems pretty obvious, but maybe someone on the technical core can tell me why i'm wrong

 

No support, the links are fine that the way that they are it's so minor in terms of somethings that need to be implemented.

So I can see why this would be a little cleaner, this would be a super low priority change and frankly there are more important things for Matthew/Sythe to spend their development time on. Additionally, if you wanted to search members by their username directly you can use the username search on the right of this page.
