Curiosity and Mars

This is definitely quite intriguing. I can't wait to check it out.

 

I would like to watch it, but's on at 5AM where I live, too early for me.

 

Do you know what time EST?

 

Its on at approximately 4:30am here in the UK which is GMT + 0 timezone. I believe EST is GMT - 5 so that would make it 11:30pm for you?

 

Going to be watching the stream tonight, pretty ecstatic to see what happens.

California is UTC-8 isn't it? which would mean its on at 8:30pm for you i believe.

 

After watching the news about it.. they said astronauts but said no astronauts then good luck astronauts..

No its an un-manned mission, just the robot Curiosity is going to mars.

 

I'd like to take a look at this :O
But I just expect to see a dusty planet.. However I do hope we find the transformers though.

According to this NASA is landing.

 

I'm confused, it says it won't land for another two hours :c

 

It should land in about 70 minutes.

 

According to the live stream, worst case scenario, we may not find out whether or not it landed safely for up to 3 days.
