creation date??? help!

update i saw something on youtube in a vid saying jagex patched recovering accs not sure what this means but if you have any info let me know?

so i bought an acc and i got all the details for the recovery's but everything seems to work but the creation date so i was asking whats going on to the seller and he told me the creation date he gave me is correct and he says that the only reason its not working is becuase my ip is different from his and we live further away so thats why jagex keeps locking the acc when i use that date and try to recover the acc as a test he said play on the acc for a month and it will work becuase they will think i moved but he also had a move date he forgot to give me so i never entered that before so could the move date not being entered be messing it up? anyways now im not to sure about this one are ip's connected to creation dates in anyway or recovery process or is it me just not entering the move date and creation date or is he bsing me?

 

Not being an ass, but the punctuation mark called a 'period' has a purpose. I would suggest not entering the move date, because I have never used it and always got my accounts recovered/unlocked. Remember tho, No information is better than false information.

 

so i guess hes bsing me with this ip stuff?

 

In all honesty in my Runescape account selling career the only times this has ever happened to me was when the previous owner is trying to recover the account while your changing details resulting in a lock.

 

More than likely what Marine Clark said, try asking him for a refund. And if the account gets recovered back to him make sure to report him.

 

the recovery shit is based on ip. I recover my accounts if needed with minimal details and still get them. All i have to do is post my ip and bam i got my acc

 

yeah the accs been recovered by some one else already then i got it locked then he unlocked it for me then it got locked again today while i was trying a recovery test with some new details and he was saying it was my ip getting the creation date denied but hes clearly not giving me the right creation date.

 

I have same problem but with my accounte someone hacked my account and i have all details but when i put it says that creation detail is wrong and i cant recover

 

Whoever you purchase your accounts from make sure there trusted first, and deal with somebody who has an overall idea of what there doing! And if at anytime something seems fishy just dont go threw with it. Best of luck on the account.

 

This, and make sure you always do a recovery test before you buy an account.

Sounds like the other guy is trying to scam you tbh. I would just leave creation and move date blank, if you have the rest of the info that should be plenty to recover the acc.

 

nope creation is a must im positive on this because ive recovered a ton of accounts before with out creation it usually doesn't work but what i dont get is why he would give me every right detail but creation then i can just keep locking the acc lol so its either give me the right creation or im just gonna lock it and lock it over and over so no one gets it.

 

o.o i tried that on my dummy acc left creation blank and it got accepted maybe it will work im still on the fence about it tho but ty.
