Considering botting

Hi all,

I'm interested in getting into botting for skills and RS cash. No experience with the current bot schemes, and unsure which bots to use.

Are there any bots out there that don't have you use the bot program to start up/log into runescape? Bots like RSbot that have their own client interface seem like a perfect way to steal your password. When botting, do you all run the bot behind a firewall to prevent it from sending info to any other site that runescape? Any thoughts on how to pretect against trojan-horse/phisher bots?

 

RSBot has thousands of users. Such a popular bot doesn't steal your password. If you're afraid of all those things you probably shouldn't be botting, dude. Honestly.

Anyways; I think you can just write you username and a random password then set it to not taking auto-breaks so it won't have to log out and in. You would be banned a lot easier using that method, though.

I guess your making of three threads was a mistake.
RSBot itself is safe to use. However, some scripts (not allowed of course) may have programmed to steal your password. If you don't know Java, view the replies to the script to see if it's safe.

 

just use common bots like RSbot, Xbot, scar and nexus, and you should be ok.
they do NOT steal your password, and about all the script's are safe to use(there have been some situations where a keylogger have been inprinted, but they get cought way to soon).
