Computer Program Simple Problem

This should probably be easily fixed by something that someone tells me. Here's the problem:

My LimeWire starts itself up every single time I close it and I don't want it open. I've looked through everything but can't find anything. Can anybody help me?

 

Hmm.. Have u looked at limewire settings? Because i think u can make it not do that from there..

 

I can only find the System Startup option which only works on startup.

 

There might besomething wrong then :S

Have u tried reinstalling it?

Limewire has an option that should be in your programs lit called Limewire on startup

 

Okay, it seems to have fixed itself now. Thanks for your help anyway guys.

 

maybe you have a computer virus... my limewire kept doing the same thing and then I ran some virus help programs which solved the problem. I had about 337 worms. After it was cleaned up no more problems...

you can get a bunch of free virus scanners and recovery tools at virus-help.org

 

Could be a virus,Uninstall it, check for disk errors and a virus check, then re-install it from Download.com.

do this

start>run> type in msconfig> go to the startup tab, then find limewire.exe, and disable it

 

search it, after you found the thing to run it make a short cut and send it to your desk top
