Competitions

I think here on Sythe, there should be more competitions to allow small users to become known within the community. Maybe a little something to get everyone together and just say a little hello.

We have a team dedicated to just as you mentioned. I'm sure if you have any ideas or suggestion for competitions or events that the CDT could host you could PM one of the team members.

I you are so inclined, feel free to hold your own competitions in the sandbox forum. The CDT regularly holds competitions for everyone to compete in. They are just recovering from the holiday competitions we had before the new year.

Please feel free to post an introduction thread and let use know who you are as a person. Look forward to getting to know you!

 

The Community Development Team does a great job with putting together events for the community to join in on IMO. At times some people who are part of the CDT will have very busy lives IRL and will be unable to help with putting together competitions and other community events, but it's usually a monthly thing along with other news and announcements in between.

 

There'll be another free entry tournament when the current is finished

IMO Sythe is comparibly fantastic compared to other forums for events

Soccer competition finished not long ago.
CDT members are trying to run atleast one competition per month. There were lots of competitions & rewards few weeks ago for Christmas, Same for Halloween. Easter is in 2 months so we'll prepare something nice too. If you can suggest us something, it'll surely be taken under consideration. However we can't flood community forums with just competitions They need to be ocassional

Thanks for all the responses guys, I'm really just looking for a cool competition maybe like GFX competition, or LoL competitions would also be very interesting.

 

I think we should have more in-game competitions.. such as who can train the highest cooking level in 1 week or something along those lines. That'd be pretty fun.

 

I would be more than happy to assist with this if there is enough interest.

Ngl I would love to see some rs comps I wouldn't even mind funding the price

 

I would really love to see some of this, we should even do League Tournaments. It would be a fantastic way to get our live streamers to stream the competition.

 

There was a LoL tournament not long ago, not sure what the turn out was like - but usually a lot of work goes in to organising community events compared to what comes out of it, sadly.

 

If any of you guys have some ideas, feel free to bounce them off of Roary or I and I am sure we can make them happen. I would definitely be able to assist on the RS side of things.
